01Acceptance and eligibility

By accessing this website, taking the quiz, joining the email list, or applying for Private Work, you confirm that you have read and accept these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site or the services.

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding agreement to use the services. The work is intended for adults.

02What the services are

The services offered through this site include:

• Content — articles, the home page, emails, and other materials about relationship patterns and emotional completion.
• The Core Pattern quiz — a self-reflection tool that produces a result based on your answers. It is for insight and orientation only and is not a diagnosis.
• Private Work — a private, one to one coaching program described on the application page. It is a coaching engagement, not therapy or clinical treatment.

The exact scope, format, and schedule of Private Work are set out when you apply and in any separate agreement you enter into before the work begins.

03Coaching disclaimer

Private Work is coaching. It is not therapy, counselling, psychotherapy, medical care, or mental-health treatment, and it is not a substitute for professional or clinical care. Bastian Gugger is not acting as a licensed therapist, psychologist, physician, or medical provider, and nothing on this site or in the work should be taken as medical, psychological, legal, or financial advice.

If you are dealing with a mental-health condition, trauma that needs clinical support, or any medical issue, please work with a qualified, licensed professional. Coaching can sit alongside that care, but it does not replace it.

04No guarantee of results

The work is personal and depends heavily on your own participation, honesty, and circumstances. No specific outcome, result, or timeline is promised or guaranteed. Coaching supports change; it does not control it.

Any stories, testimonials, or examples shared on this site reflect individual experiences. They are not typical, not a promise of similar results, and should not be relied on as a guarantee. Your experience will be your own.

05Payment, plans, cancellation, and refunds

The current investment for Private Work is $3,000 USD. Payment plans may be available and, where offered, are agreed in writing before the work begins. Prices may change for future clients, but the price agreed with you applies to your engagement.

Cancellation and refunds

Because Private Work is a personal, time-reserved engagement, the cancellation and refund terms that apply to you are the ones set out in the separate written agreement you accept before starting. Where local consumer-protection law gives you a statutory right to withdraw or to a refund, that right is not affected by these terms. If anything about payment or refunds is unclear, ask before you commit.

06Intellectual property

All content on this site and within the work, including text, frameworks, the quiz, methods, names, and design, is owned by Bastian Gugger or used under licence, and is protected by intellectual-property law. You may view and use it for your own personal, non-commercial purposes.

You may not copy, reproduce, resell, redistribute, or create derivative works from the content or materials without prior written permission. Materials shared with you as part of Private Work are for your personal use only.

07Acceptable use

When using this site you agree not to:

• use it for any unlawful purpose or in breach of these terms;
• attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site, its systems, or other users data;
• interfere with or disrupt the site, or introduce malicious code;
• scrape, harvest, or misuse content or personal data from the site;
• misrepresent your identity or provide false information in the quiz or application.

08Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The site and its content are provided on an as-is and as-available basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. No promise is made that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for a particular purpose.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Bastian Gugger is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss arising from your use of the site or the services, or from any decision you make based on the content. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

You remain responsible for your own choices, actions, and wellbeing.

09Privacy

Your use of the site is also governed by the Privacy Policy, which explains what data is collected and how it is handled. By using the site you acknowledge that policy.

10Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of Switzerland, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute arising from these terms or your use of the services is subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts at the place of business in Switzerland, unless mandatory consumer-protection law in your country of residence gives you the right to bring proceedings elsewhere.

Before any formal dispute, please contact bastian@bastiangugger.com so the matter can be discussed and, where possible, resolved directly and in good faith.

11Changes and contact

These terms may be updated from time to time. The effective date at the top of the page shows the current version. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
